As you click around on the site, you'll notice there's still some assets we're working on, art wise and info wise, but we'll eventually fill those in as we have time and remember to! For the most part though, all of the Marshies that were on the old Masterlist (found here: https://marshies-cafe.netlify.app/) have been uploaded here, plus a couple of others that hadn't been previously uploaded! They should be linked to your Toyhouse account, so as soon as you make an account and link your Toyhouse, they should be automatically transferred to you! If you have any issues, feel free to submit a report/claim or open a ticket in the Discord server and we'll assist you!

I would also like to remind you all (or at least those that I pinged in the Discord Server already), about our preperation for our upcoming Christmas/Holiday Gacha Raffle! You may notice that the form mentions that the character(s) you submit for the secret santa event MUST be a Marshie, but remember that you get a Free Rare MYO from joining the species (claimable from the shop), or make Marshies for free when using Common and Uncommon traits! You have enough time to design and submit a Marshie before the sign-ups close at the end of November!

New Trait Announcement

Alongside the Secret Santa announcement, I also wanted to announce a new Mythical Trait I've decided to add: Antenna! There are many traits like this one that I haven't really thought about until it comes up in conversation or in a concept submitted by you guys, so don't be afraid to be creative with those MYO Designs! The one Marshie that influenced the addition of this new trait will gain the trait without the use of a Mythical Trait Upgrade!

week 1 prompt

In addition to the Gacha Raffle, we also have weekly event prompts as another way for you all to get Candy Canes to use in the shop! For this week's prompt, Orange Cream wants to decorate a Christmas Tree with ornaments representing all kinds of Marshies! Submit a drawn or written description of your ornament based on one of your Marshies here!

We have quite a few giveaways going on right now besides just the Gacha Raffle, including last month's Donated Design Raffle and the 300 Marshies Creamie MYO Raffle! So I'll go ahead and announce that the Donated Design Raffle was won by AnxiouslyandInk, and the Creamie MYO Raffle was won by WildberryBnuuy ! Both winners have either been contacted or given their prizes! As a reminder to anyone who still has Donated Design Raffle Tickets, you can still use these items to enter this month's raffle as well!

In other news, I did have another idea for a raffle that might become a monthly thing based on interest, but I know a few people have Batch Self Breeding Slots that they might not use so, so any Batch Self Breeding Slot owners who are interested you can comment below and I'll enter you into a raffle where the winner will have their Breeding Batch designed by me! It gives me something else to doodle between commissions, and you can choose to keep all of the designs I do or any you don't want to keep I'll sell back to the community! You do not have to use/get rid of your Batch Self Breeding Slot to enter this raffle! If I do this again I want you to still be able to enter even if you don't win this time around! You have until December 3rd to let me know if you're interested or not, 'cause that's when I'll be choosing a winner to start working on sketches for the designs!

The Daily Loot reward pool has been edited for the Holiday Season! You can no longer recieve Thanksgiving Exclusive Trait Upgrades, but you may get Christmas Exclusive Trait Upgrades or another surprise that I've mixed into the pool! You may be able to guess what it is, but no spoilers yet! In addition, I'm thinking about removing Rare MYOs from the loot pool at the end of the year, so this will most likely be the last month you'll be able to get them from Daily Loot!

week 2 Prompt

For this week's prompt, Orange Cream sends out a reminder to all of the Marshies not to forget to finish their gift shopping for the holidays! Now in a panic to finish their shopping, Marshies across the species are rushing to buy all of their last minute gifts. Submit a drawn or written drawing/story of how your Marshies handle the last minute shopping/gift wrapping here!

I got reminded of our first Marshies Hunger Games event/story a couple of days ago, which gave me and my Co-Writer sleepyhopss inspiration to try and write the contiuation of the story, as hinted at the end of the original story! If you're interested in submitting your characters for us to use in the simulation/story, you can find more info here! I'll also go ahead and plug the original story/result of the first event if you're interested here!

Other than that I wanted to say congrats to AnxiouslyandInk for winning the little Batch Self Breeding Batch Design Raffle I hosted in the last news post! Any designs from the batch that the owner doesn't want to claim will be put up for sale when I finish the batch, but please know that there is no guarentee that that will happen!

I am also kind of considering opening the Candy Cane Shop at the start of Week 4 (December 22nd) depending on how many people participate in the prompts between now and then, just so you can see what's available in the shop to see if it interests you to do the prompts to buy the items!

For this week's prompt, it seems that one of the gifts your Marshie recieved has given them a strange Holiday-Themed mutation! Draw or write what this mutation ended up being, and then submit it to this week's prompt here!

Reminders

As per usual, I want to remind anyone that has any Raffle Tickets to use them! That is the only way to get entered into the raffles, so if you forget to use them in time then you won't have a chance at winning them!

I also wanted to remind you guys about the Marshies Hunger Games story me, sleepyhopss, and now PTV will be working on! We have 18/24 characters submitted so far for the event! Next week I'll be filling in the gaps with my own characters, so if you want a chance to have your characters featured in the story and have a chance of winning a Trait Upgrade of your choice, then make sure you submit your characters here!

Editing this announcement from before I went to bed instead of making a new announcement to announce the new features I added when adding more extensions to the site today!

I finally got around to adding the extension that allows you to sort your Marshies into folders for easier viewing on your profile!

We have also added forums! We're not entirely sure how we will be using these on the site, but we're always welcome to suggestions if you have any!

The biggest of the changes I've made is addtion an Adoption Center! You can now buy any donated Marshies/Creamies for Cocoa Coins instead of waiting for the Donated Design Raffles! These raffles will still be happening every month, just think of them as a way of being able to get these characters for free instead of having to buy them!

For this week's prompt, draw one of your or someone elses' Marshies in someone elses art style, just make sure you have their permission first! If you don't know who to ask, you can always use CookieCloudss' style! Just make sure you submit the prompt here when you're done!

Candy Cane Shop

Originally we were going to wait until next week to open the shop, but we thought we would go ahead and open up the shop to give you guys time to see what's available to purchase incase you want to go back and do the other prompts you haven't done yet to get the Candy Canes you need! The shop will be open until CookieCloudss wakes up on Janurary 5th!

This is most likely your final reminder to use your raffle tickets before the end of the month! That is the only way to be entered into the raffles, and all of the Holiday Gacha Raffle Tickets will be rendered useless after the raffle ends on December 31st/Janurary 1st, so make sure you use them while you can!

The monthly Donated Design Raffle ALSO ends tomorrow! Make sure you use your raffle tickets to get entered into the raffle if you want a chance to win one of the designs in the Adoption Center!

trevor project charity event

If you didn't know, there has been some talk in the Discord Server about setting up a Trevor Project Charity Event at some point this year. While we could have just waited until Pride Month, I thought it might better to take donations for this event all year. This allows us to slowly gather donations over a long period of time, instead of trying to get a large amount all at once! Giveaway reminders

Our Monthly Discord Server giveaways were posted a few hours ago, but in addition to those the additional Donated Design Raffle has also been reset! You can collect tickets for it through the daily loot all month, and then use them for a chance to win one of the designs out of the Adoption Center! There's also only a few more days left to enter the Holiday Gacha Raffle, so make sure you use your Raffle Tickets before it ends!

edit: Adoption Center Reminder

When sending the gacha designs to the winners on Toyhouse, it was brought to my attention that some of the characters that were for sale in the Adoption Center were still "owned" by the MarshiesCafe account on Toyhouse. As a reminder all of the Marshies for sale there are also uploaded here on Toyhouse, so please submit a report or open a ticket in the Discord Server whenever you buy a Marshie from the Adoption Center so we can send you ownership on Toyhouse instead of you having to make your own Toyhouse Profile for them! This also helps so the Toyhouse Profile has accurate ownership history

For this contest we will be accepting submissions for any of the three things:
➼ Keyart for the Fundraiser Page
➼ Pride Header/Theme for the site
➼ Pride User Border Design

Keyart for the Fundraiser Page:
➼ Can be art of any of the Mascots with the Progressive Flag or their respective Pride Flag(s)
➼ But be at least a bust or halfbody
➼ Can include words about the Trevor Project or Charity or Fundraiser but is not required

Pride Header/Theme for the Site:
➼ Can be art of any of the Mascots with the Progressive Flag or their respective Pride Flag(s)
➼ But be at least a bust of halfbody
➼ Please include the name of the site/species (Marshies Cafe) like the default theme
➼ Designing a background is not required, but it is helpful if you at least suggest a background solid color

Pride User Border Design:
➼ Some sort of design for a user/avatar border for the site that can be modified for multiple pride flags
➼ You don't have to submit a version for every flag you think might be used on the site, as long as it has the generic pride rainbow just so we can see the design, and then either you or one of our staff (with your permission of course) can recolor it for other pride flags

There will be a winner for each three categories, each of which will get either a Charity Exclusive Trait Upgrade or an Event Exclusive Item of your choice (Batch Self Breeding Slot, Buzzie MYO Slot, Creamie MYO Slot, Creamie Potion, Mythical MYO Slot, or any Holiday Exclusive Trait Upgrade)

Anyone who makes a submission will also receive at least 500 Cocoa Coins per submission! You may get more for Keyart or Theme submissions that include multiple of the Mascots and would have received more Cocoa Coins if you had submitted it for Cocoa Coins to make sure you get a fair amount for your effort

Winners will be chosen via community vote in the Discord Server, so make sure you join to get a chance to input your own opinions for those assets!

To submit your entries, make sure to submit it to the prompt ! Please keep in mind that in order to get your Cocoa Coin or item rewards, you have to have an account on the site! (I know that currently trying to make an account using toyhouse does not work, but if you create an account normally and then link your toyhouse it works fine!) discord bot in progress

I've made a few mentions of it in the Discord Server, but while learning to code in one of my classes I've been interested to see how I can use that coding in making my own discord bots (admittedly inspired by a friend who knows more about coding than I do), so I'm slowly working on making a custom bot for the server! I have a few ideas of my own that I am working on implementing right now before I add it to the server, and there is a tag in the suggestions forum in the server for you all to be able to make suggestions for commands/features you might want me to try and implement so if anything comes to mind, feel free to drop it in there!

discord bot updates

If you haven't seen the updates in the Discord Server, I have completely finished setting up all of the ideas for our custom Discord Bot! So far it handles the welcome and leave messages for the server, posts a daily reminder for the daily loot, and has custom commands for you to link your account here on the site, call up a link to your profile here on the site, or call up the trait sheet whenever you need it.

Linking your account on Discord is NOT required, but it does help us be able to find your site username if you win a giveaway in the Discord server since it can be a little hard to remember everone's usernames if it doesn't match your Discord one
