raffles

Congratulations to Percy_Wolf for winning last month's Adoption Center Voucher Raffle! For anyone who forgot to use any Raffle Ticket that they got in the daily loot, you can still use them to join this month's raffle and have a chance at winning one of the designs out of the Adoption Center!

This is also a reminder that our 400th Marshie Raffle ends in two days, so make sure you go enter before it's too late!

Adoption Center changes

Last month we announced that we would be discounting Marshies that get stuck in the Adoption Center for over a year. Since then, I've decided to change that time frame to six months. Additionally, designs that we've gotten permission to let people redesign will let members get rewards for redesigning them! The six-month anniversary of the Adoption Center is June 14th, so I will be making these changes and introducing the new prompt then.

staff changes

We have decided that instead of having set designers, we will instead bring on Guest Artist/Designers every few months to let the community rotate into the staff. So please welcome @thecacophony and m0thsh0p as our first batch of Guest Artists. Because we didn't get very many applications this time around, I'm leaving the applications open if you'd still like to apply! We may add a few more Guest Artists even before the next rotation. Because of this new system, we will be removing Adopt Passes from the shop. They may appear in event shops in the future, but as of right now we have no plans to distribute them.

Additionally, one of our Event Managers, quiet, has chosen to step down from the staff team for now.

cocoa shop changes

If you haven't been seeing the announcements in the Discord Server, we recently decreased the prices of almost everything in the Cocoa Shop to properly match the amount of Cocoa Coins you earn from prompts so you don't have to grind out as much!

We also would like to one day switch from doing a Monthly Adoption Center Voucher Raffle to doing a Monthly Cocoa Coin Raffle, especially after the good reception we received from our first raffle!

breeding slot trait restrictions

Self Breeding Slots now have a trait limitation so children cannot inherit Mythical or Exclusive Traits from their parents. Batch Self Breeding Slots do not have this restriction. The only way to get around this restriction is if you happen to win one of my raffles that I host, where I design kids for you to use for your breeding slots. There are some traits I'm not too good at drawing and may avoid including in breeding kids, but there are some Mythical or Exclusive traits I may have the kids inherit when I design them for you.

fundraiser reminder

I'll probably add this reminder at the bottom of every newsletter throughout the month, but here's a reminder that we have a year-long fundraiser going on right now for the Trevor Project! You can find more info here if you're interested in contributing!
